  1. Great movie! I really like the main character. She's always thinking of her next move. The concept of this movie was really good too. It's kind of a game of "would you rather." lol

  2. The ending was great and as expected, it's a CLOVERFIELD movie people …. and Goodman's character is literally telling you throughout what is going on. Anyone who was disappointed by the ending weren't picking up on the movie's themes or numerous hints.

  3. Wowww, just finished watching this movie, and it's amazing. You don't know more than the main character, so the audience keeps guessing with her what has happened outside and wether it really did happen. I get easily distracted while watching a movie, and this just kept my attention all the way through. Still in shock after I finished it.

  4. I don't get the people here who think this movie's ending was a plot twist. If anything it was the complete opposite.

The whole movie was so good, because it kept me guessing whether Howard was lying or not, but I kept telling myself that if the ending was indeed actual aliens, I would be incredibly disappointed. I was really hoping for an ending that was less lazy and more creative. But they instead just stuck with whatever they were hinting the whole time, which was aliens and war.

  5. Watched this a while ago, but I genuinely enjoyed this movie. A lot. Like, a damn lot. The only sore spot for me? You guessed it: the ending.

While the ending would have probably been fine in any kind of action schlock flick, this one was more of a thriller, and that ending seemed so tacked on… If she got outside, and looked and said "Oh, come on…" and then it cut to credits, oh man… That would have worked SO well. What a cliff hanger!

But no, we had to get some action movie cliche crap at the very end. Ultimately, it's a minor ding on an otherwise fantastic movie that was genuinely tense and reaffirms that John Goodman can play a supremely scary guy who doesn't need to scream and yell, but just be overwhelmingly intimidating with just a look and a calm, yet stern tone of voice that just makes you shiver.

Very claustrophobic, very moody… Absolutely fantastic. Just hit stop when she says "Oh come on" and you'll have a winner.
